Hi,

I'd like to place a form (for E-Mail contact) into my website. Unfortunately my Web host doesn't support Frontpage extensions anymore (He did earlier with the Frontpage-Software).

I heard that somehow there must be a possibility to make this form work without these extensions. Does anybody know how?

Thanks a lot!

Nadja

Your host most likely uses ASP.NET then for processing. I haven't used this yet, but I would suggest CTRFX's Form Generation Script in your case.

Dear Dustin

I'm very happy about your answer. I've had a look to this ctrfx-Page and it was very useful. It was very easy to place the form into the page. You don't need any knowledge in Visual Basic programming. It's all done for you.

Unfortunately, I've still some problems because the form appears nicely in the EW-Browser but not in the uploaded page. In the uploaded page are the text boxes missing. Perhabs, my webhost doesn't support asp.net 2.0 pages. which you need to insert such a form. So my next step is to find that out.

To all who have read my question: This link http://www.ctrfx.com/form/ is great. There is also a free Macro which you can download to insert Hit counters, Photo Galleries etc. I've not tried it out but I will...

Now I have to add something else.... I completely forgot to introduce myself. I'm new here in this forum. This was my first question. Thanks for the quick reply!!!

I'm an electrical engineer, working in a small family business, producing electrical controls for industrial machines like conveyor belts, mixing units, presses and so on, living in Switzerland, beeing in need of a business webpage, which I try to do myself...

So perhabs it wasn't my last question.... Thanks!

Welcome to the forums nadja! Glad to hear the link was so helpful. Let me know if you can't get the forms to show up after talking to your host. Good luck and if you have more questions, don't hesitate to post. (Even though I've been more than a bit slow in response time lately, I'm normally pretty good about getting questions answered.)
