I have setup an iFrame on my web site and would like to control which linked site shows in that window via Menu Buttons.

My question is has anyone setup a similar web-element and would be willing share your HTML.

Secondly, is there a better option than iFrames?

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Ray

Hi

What is the purpose of the iFrame?
Will it have a particular function as to the reason why you are using it?

There are serveral sections of downloads I have that a member could from - I am going these into seperate pages so that along the top you might choose a menu button for financial spreadsheets (thus showing in the iframe all the different spreadsheets you can bring down.  The next menu button along the top might be for various application forms and so on.

But I don't want to leave the page I am on but rather just change the content in the iFrame menu so show the other pages I built that hold the listing to all the downloadable content.

Hope that helped in answering your question.

Its been awhile since I've used iFrames, but I believe you can name your iFrame with name="myiframename" and then on your link code you would set the target to that name, so <*a href="mylink.html" target="myiframename">

My wife has given birth to our twins, so I'm still going to be spotty around here. It never seems to correct itself does it? I'm sorry, I'm trying.
