I have a table with a large amount of data. It's longer than the average screen.

I want to make it so that the column headings at the top of the table do not disappear when a user scrolls down.

Does anyone know how to fix the 1st row of a table to always show the column headings?

Maybe there is another technique to use such as a fixed layer?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks again.

I'm assuming this isn't the only thing on your page? If the table is the only thing on the page, there are some layout things you could do I suppose, but I doubt the table is the only thing on the page, in which case I don't have really any options for. I would suggest maybe repeating the table headings throughout your entire table, so users don't have to scroll back up to see which column is what. That's probably a better solution than some weird layout trickery.

My wife has given birth to our twins, so I'm still going to be spotty around here. It never seems to correct itself does it? I'm sorry, I'm trying.
