Hello,

I have a problem to center a layer vertically.

Normally i make a layer or table and use 100% height horizontal and 100% width vertically to fill the browser maximum. In there i put a new table and center this.

In Expression web, when i use 100% horizontal the layer gets a maximum width, but when i use 100% vertically the layer gets a minimum height .

Is anybody know how to solve this?

Kind regards,
Louis

Instead of that create a container for the page content with the width you want it to be and add left and right margins of auto which will center the container on the page. See http://www.expression-web-tutorials.com/center-page-in-browser.html

The same would be true if you were using a table. Rather than add a height, leave out the height and the container will expand to fit the amount of content you insert in it.
